During the production tasks, my knowledge of the technology involved in the production greatly improved. Through the use of a digital SLR, I learnt the importance and specifics of camera angles. In the videos we produced we used a range of shots such as close-up, medium close-up, long shot and tracking shot of which we then collaborated the shots together to match the original video we were given to mimic. To do this we used the editing suite "Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0" in which we did our best to match the original video we were given which a lot of the time involved us creating continuity editing. We used the same software to sync the soundtrack to the video, this proved difficult at first, but after a bit of tweeking we managed to make it look believable.
During A2 I would like to develop my camera skills and also to encorporate lighting more as I think it is a key factor to whether a video look proffesional or not. In the short tasks we have recently completed no artificial lighting was used, this is something I hope to change next year.
